We feel that recreation can be a very stimulating and effective way to teach and at the same time enhance the lives of those who live here. Community involvement plays a large part in our ability to achieve this goal. Medallion Manor takes pride in the wide variety of activities we offer. We have two full-time recreation therapists along with a support staff which allows individuals to have more freedom to choose different activities than they would otherwise. Whether it is going to the BYU Creamery for ice cream or experiencing the once in a life-time thrill of going to the 2002 Winter Olympics, individuals always have a choice of several activities in-house and in the community to choose from.

Heber Valley Rail Road
Taking a ride on the historic Heber Valley Rail Road was something we’ll never forget. The ride lasted for about two hours and gave us all a chance to enjoy beautiful Provo Canyon and Deer Creek Reservoir. A picnic lunch topped off a day that was loved by all.

We have many sports fans at Medallion. Most are BYU and Utah Jazz fans. This picture was taken after the Blue-White game in Provo with Reno Mahe, a wide receiver for BYU.

Olympics
We will never forget the 2002 Winter Olympics. Medallion Manor, like most Utahns, took advantage of the opportunity to see World class athletes from all over the globe compete. This picture was taken at the Peaks Ice Arena during one of the hockey games.
