What is Medallion Manor Care Center?

Medallion Manor is a small, privately owned Intermediate Care Facility for the Mentally Retarded or ICF/MR. We specialize in the care of the mentally retarded/developmentally disabled adult and serve both men and women.

Located in rural, west Provo, Medallion Manor offers a community based home-like atmosphere where individuals can learn, grow, and achieve their maximum potential.

We at Medallion Manor feel that every human being is of worth. It is our goal to develop to the greatest extent all of the talents and personalities of those we serve. We are dedicated to provide those who live here an atmosphere of love and dignity with care given by people who are genuinely committed to and concerned for each person as an individual. We recognize that in many cases, families although willing , are unable to provide for their unique needs. Our goal is to fulfill that special role and fully maximize the potential of each individual.

Each person who comes to live at Medallion Manor has their needs evaluated by a team consisting of: family members, the individual, a social worker, a dietician, a registered nurse, a recreation therapist, a speech/hearing therapist, a qualified mental retardation professional, and a program director. Together, this team sets goals for the individual and creates an Individual Support Plan or ISP. Staff is available 24 hours a day to assist and help individuals achieve these goals.
